Rising energy costs: “There’s a blaze on the train in Bavaria” – Bayern

Passengers are used to the fact that trains in Bavaria are repeatedly canceled or that routes are closed for days or even weeks due to construction sites. The rail network is in parts quite dilapidated and urgently needs to be renovated. The list of lines affected is long. Not even the Passion Play in Oberammergau and the Wagner Festival in Bayreuth were always easily accessible by train.
