Ripple’s legal team opposes SEC appeal that XRP tokens are securities

Attorneys representing Ripple in its lawsuit against the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) have revealed that regulators have not complied with appeal requirements.

In a Sept. 1 filing before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Ripple’s legal team said The SEC’s reasons for appeal largely depend on “Dissatisfaction” in Judge’s Decision That XRP Tokens Do Not Qualify as Securities for Sale to Retail Investors The lawyer demanded that the judge reject the appeal request.
