An intoxicated 32-year-old defended himself during a police operation in Nuremberg in such a way that he and two police officers fell down several steps on a stairway. One of the police officers injured his foot on Saturday, the police said on Sunday. He is currently unemployed.
The 32-year-old man rioted in his girlfriend’s apartment and refused to leave the house. The woman then fled her home and called the police. A patrol handcuffed the man after he behaved aggressively towards the officers, police said. On the way to the patrol car, the 32-year-old fought back and the trio fell down the stairs. The man is now being investigated for resisting law enforcement officials.
