The Bamberg criminal police are investigating right-wing extremist graffiti in an underground car park. A police spokesman said on Tuesday that an entire parking deck of the garage in Bamberg’s city center was largely smeared with, among other things, swastikas and the slogan “Sieg Heil.” The right-wing extremist slogans and symbols were spread on the walls, the floor and the ceiling. Investigators estimate the material damage at around 10,000 euros.
According to the police, the previously unknown perpetrators daubed the parking deck between Saturday morning and Monday morning. The Bamberg police are now investigating property damage and the use of license plates of unconstitutional organizations and are looking for witnesses.
