Richard Gasquet and Adrian Mannarino eliminated in the quarter-finals in Montpellier

Richard Gasquet ended up admitting defeat on his land, in Montpellier. The Frenchman, 75th in the world, saved a match point well in the second set to afford a decisive set. But, at 35, he paid for his efforts against Mikael Ymer, 83rd in the world. The 23-year-old Swede, who defeated Gaël Monfils in the previous round, won 7-5, 6-7 (6), 6-1 after a 2:32 battle on Friday evening.

In the semi-finals, Ymer will face Alexander Zverev, who wandered (6-1, 6-0) against Adrian Mannarino. The other half will feature Filip Krajinovic and Alexander Bublik. There are no more French people in the ATP 250 Hérault table.
