Pietreczko is getting better Pietreczko opened the second set with a 99 and the Brit followed up with a 100. Pikachu does well after that throws a 140. But he can’t confirm the good shot and Humphries gets into the finish area first. The Englishman misses the Shanghai finish and Pietreczko takes the leg with the first dart on the D16.

Break for Cool Hand Luke In the second leg the scoring isn’t going so well for both of them, but Pietreczko is the first to reach the finish area. But he can’t check the 108 and Humphries clears the 96 over the T20 and D18 and gets the break.
First leg for Humphries Humphries opens the match with a 60 and Pietreczko answers with a 140. The Englishman again fails to hit a triple, but Pietreczko also only throws a 57. Humphries then throws the first 180 and Pietreczko follows suit with a 140. The 164 is still too much for Pietreczko and Humphries can’t check the 62 yet and leaves 16 remaining. He checks it with two darts over the D4.
The last German Ricardo “Pikachu” Pietreczko is the last German player who still has a chance of reaching the round of 16 after the elimination of Martin Schindler and Gabriel Clemens yesterday Wednesday and Florian Hempel this afternoon. At the start, the 29-year-old easily beat the Japanese Mikuru Suzuki 3-0 and only gave up one leg. In the second round, Pikachu had a much more difficult time against Callan Rydz. In the end he narrowly prevailed against the Englishman 3-2 and scratched the 100 average.
