Ricarda Lang and Hubert Aiwanger at “Maischberger” about the leaflet affair and migration – media

On the evening of his triumph, the newly sworn-in Bavarian Deputy Prime Minister actually went to the television studio and was questioned about the leaflet affair. He remains true to his principle: a lot of talk, little answer.

There’s one thing that’s truly absolutely terrifying about this Maischberger show, and it’s not Hubert Aiwanger. Rather, it is the digital work of art of a backdrop in front of which Aiwanger sits: a dystopian, purple-tinged Bavarian panorama, mountain peaks in twilight and dark clouds over the State Chancellery. Even Neuschwanstein Castle looks as if it were Count Dracula’s second home. If Aiwanger wasn’t already in the studio, he would have to be called to the rescue.
