Review: “Yvonne, Princess of Burgundy” in the stables – Munich

In an entertaining production in the stables, “Yvonne, Princess of Burgundy” presents a woman as a silent projection surface for the wishes of a society that is trapped in its patriarchal structures.

More than half of the piece passes before her name is even mentioned: Yvonne. She is the eponymous protagonist in the production by Miloš Lolić. The one that everyone talks about but hardly says anything herself.
