But as soon as the French countertenor started singing, all concerns were dispelled, even if the 45-year-old’s precious, distinctively timbred and still captivatingly youthful voice initially did not sound as beautiful and supple as it did during the course of the concert in the Isarphilharmonie “Forgotten Arias” more and more.
