First came “Unterleuten”, then “Über Menschen” and now “Between Worlds”. Apparently Juli Zeh had a trilogy in mind. But the third and most recent part formally breaks out of this framework. Instead of a narrated action, it consists of electronic exchange between the Hamburg journalist Stefan and the Brandenburg organic farmer Theresa, via e-mail, Whatsapp, Telegram and a few other forums.
