The fight against menstrual insecurity is intensifying in Senegal. In this country, 45% of young girls miss classes during their period, according to the association Speak Up Africa. Faced with this, the company ApiAfrique has been manufacturing reusable sanitary napkins since 2016.
With a lifespan of two years, these protections allow them not to go home to change, not to miss sports lessons and to save money.
