“Harry Potter” reunion comes to Sat.1

For the first time on free TV: Sat.1 is showing the reunion special “Return to Hogwarts: 20 Years of Harry Potter”.
“Return to Hogwarts – 20 years Harry Potter” is coming to free TV for the first time. Sat.1 will show the reunion special of the successful magic saga on August 26, 2023. The documentary will run on Saturday at 8:15 p.m. in prime time. The private broadcaster announced this on Friday .
“Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts”, the original title of the special, was created for the 20th birthday of the first film adaptation of the novel series by Joanne K. Rowling (58). “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” opened in cinemas in November 2001.
On January 1, 2022, the anniversary documentary was shown for the first time on the US streaming service HBO Max. She started in Germany on the same day on pay TV, on Sky and Sky Ticket.

In Return to Hogwarts: Harry Potter 20 Years, the stars of the films reminisce about the making of the series. Daniel Radcliffe (34), Emma Watson (33) and Rupert Grint (34) meet on the set of Hogwarts Magic School and reminisce.
Directors like Chris Columbus (64), who directed the first two films, also have their say. Between the interviews, film scenes and behind-the-scenes footage are shown again and again.
Sat.1 will show more documentaries afterwards
Immediately after “Return to Hogwarts”, Sat.1 broadcasts another documentary from the “Harry Potter” universe. At 10:30 p.m. “Fantastic Harry Potter Moments – The Big SAT.1 Special” will be on. The format reviews the 33 best moments about the sorcerer’s apprentice. The documentary celebrated its premiere in 2019 and has since been seen more often as a repeat.
