For the first time on free TV: Sat.1 is showing the reunion special “Return to Hogwarts: 20 Years of Harry Potter”.

“Return to Hogwarts – 20 years Harry Potter” is coming to free TV for the first time. Sat.1 will show the reunion special of the successful magic saga on August 26, 2023. The documentary will run on Saturday at 8:15 p.m. in prime time. The private broadcaster announced this on Friday .

“Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: ​​Return to Hogwarts”, the original title of the special, was created for the 20th birthday of the first film adaptation of the novel series by Joanne K. Rowling (58). “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” opened in cinemas in November 2001.

On January 1, 2022, the anniversary documentary was shown for the first time on the US streaming service HBO Max. She started in Germany on the same day on pay TV, on Sky and Sky Ticket.

The format reviews the 33 best moments about the sorcerer’s apprentice. The documentary celebrated its premiere in 2019 and has since been seen more often as a repeat.
