Digital pension overview online from Friday

The Deutsche Rentenversicherung offers a new platform on which citizens can view their statutory, company and private pension schemes. However, not all providers are there yet.
According to the German pension insurance, the planned digital pension overview will go online this Friday. On the rentenuebersicht.de platform, citizens should in future be given an overview of their statutory, company and private pension schemes and thus be able to find out about the financial situation to be expected in old age. This was announced by the German Pension Insurance Association (DRV) in Berlin.
The portal should help to be able to assess the future individual situation at retirement age and to identify possible need for action for the desired standard of living at an early stage. However, the site is not yet complete. The pension insurance is dependent on the private Pension providers also participate and make their data available. Other providers would follow in the course of the year, it said.
The login should be possible via the online function of the identity card with the associated “AusweisApp2” on the smartphone. Imke Petersen, who is responsible for the digital pension overview project at DRV, had already assured in May that there would continue to be annual written pension information. The digital overview is an additional offer.
