Resistance in Myanmar hopes for a split in the military – politics

On Tuesday, a court in Myanmar heard Aung San Suu Kyi, further charges were read out, about a dozen there are now – and the hearing was postponed indefinitely. It is unclear whether the Nobel Prize winner and former ruling state councilor will ever be convicted. It seems certain that the 76-year-old will not be released as long as the junta remains in power.
