The rescue of two swarms of bees has hampered train traffic in Würzburg. The insects had settled below the edge of the platform, as the police announced on Monday. In order to protect travelers and the animals themselves, the fire brigade caught the bees with a so-called swarm trap. Two platforms at the main station were therefore closed for a good seven hours on Sunday. Police said they were looking for a new home for the animals.
