In his interview, Emmanuel Macron mentioned, without naming her, the LR candidate Valérie Pécresse, who proposes to remove tens of thousands of civil servant positions. “The President of the Republic himself proposed in his program five years ago the reduction of the number of civil servants,” replied on LCI Philippe Gosselin, LR deputy of the Channel, support of Valérie Pécresse.
“Without mentioning Valérie Pécresse, he talks about this measure,” notes the deputy. “He understood that the candidate who counts is Valérie Pécresse and not another. We feel a form of feverishness.”
