It will soon be easier to borrow for rental investors. The High Council for Financial Stability (HCSF) has just announced: the Ministry of the Economy and the Banque de France will authorize banks to promote the granting of mortgages to purchasers of property intended for rental.
Banking establishments will have the possibility, from today, of accepting more loan files of this type among those which derogate from the general rules of mortgages. This is “additional flexibility” for banks and their borrowing customers, according to the HCSF.
