Karin Fuhrmann is top in her field. In 2019 she was named “Tax Advisor of the Year” in Austria for the third time in the real estate and construction industry category. A sought-after expert, whose work, however, raises increasingly critical questions. It’s about support services for her first-name friend René Benko. Fuhrmann belongs to the innermost circle of the failed investor. She has been working for him since 2003 and has even been a board member of the Benko Family Private Foundation based in Innsbruck since 2011. As such, Fuhrmann went to bankruptcy court at the end of March because the foundation is insolvent. 854 million euros in debts are offset by 21.5 million assets.
