He demands to be “immediately” reinstated on NRJ radio, according to comments made by his lawyer, Frédéric Lamoureux, at France Info.
For the record, NRJ had removed its star host (since 2010) from the air on November 22, 2023, the day after the first rape complaint to which he was the subject. However, despite numerous negotiations, “Sébastien Cauet and NRJ have not reached an agreement”, specifies the lawyer.
The applicant and his production company Be Aware therefore request “the execution of the contract with NRJ for an immediate return to the air”.
A first hearing on the procedure will therefore be held on January 29 at the Paris commercial court. If Frédéric Lamoureux assures that his client “has no animosity against his employer, but that he is waiting to return to the air”, the radio has, for the moment, made no comment, specifies France Info.
