Valverde and Nibali celebrated
The Murcian and the Shark of Messina will end their careers at the end of the season. The opportunity for the riders to pay tribute to them by offering them a guard of honor before the start of the last stage of this Vuelta.
Alejandro Valverde was even able to pass the first kilometers of the final circuit in the lead, far ahead of the peloton, to greet the massive crowd who came to pay homage to the winner of the Tour of Spain in 2009.
