Remco Evenepoel wins again in the 18th stage of the Vuelta, Sepp Kuss remains in red

Left behind in the general classification since the ascent of the Col du Tourmalet where he lost almost half an hour, Remco Evenepoel, winner of the Vuelta last year, has refocused his objectives and is targeting the stages. After having digested the double ascent of the Col Puerto de La Cruz de Linares, the Belgian from Soudal-Quick Step won again after a long breakaway, started just after the start, during the 18th stage.

He thus achieved a third success in this Vuelta after winning the 3rd and 15th stages. In the general classification, the positions remain fixed and the podium remains the exclusive property of Jumbo Visma, Sepp Kuss remains the leader of the race with seventeen seconds ahead of his teammate Jonas Vingegaard who worked for the American rider. The three-time winner of the event, Primoz Roglic, maintains third place overall.
