Alexander Zverev likes the night at Roland-Garros. For the third time in a row, the one who now ranks 27th in the world, emerged victorious from the night session, on the Philippe-Chatrier court, Monday June 5, on behalf of the round of 16 at Roland-Garros. Facing him, the Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov offered a combative face but suffered too many unforced errors (50 in total against 27 for his opponent), losing in three sets after 2h17 of play (6-1, 6-4 , 6-3).

Alexander Zverev will challenge Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry in the quarter-finals.
