Regensburg – policeman dragged along – Bavaria

At a traffic control in Regensburg, a car driver suddenly accelerated and dragged a police officer along for several meters. The officer was slightly injured, the police said on Monday. The emergency services looked for the 29-year-old and found him a little later on Sunday night in the Regensburg city area. They found that the driver was drunk, did not have a driver’s license, and his car’s license plate belonged to a different vehicle. He now has to answer for several crimes.
