Regensburg: Attack in front of asylum accommodation – Police investigate attempted murder – Bavaria

Two residents of an asylum center in Regensburg have been arrested for attempted murder. During an argument, the two threw heavy objects at a security guard at the property, the police said on Friday. The 43-year-old was moderately injured.

In the incident on Wednesday evening, the security service denied an 18-year-old resident access to the accommodation because, according to the police, the Tunisian wanted to bring alcohol into the accommodation. There was an argument in which the 18-year-old is said to have attacked the employee. Both were injured.

According to the information, a previously uninvolved 30-year-old Tunisian came along. He is said to have thrown an object weighing several kilos at the security guard. The 18-year-old is then said to have thrown something. The two residents were brought before the investigating judge on Thursday. He issued arrest warrants.
