A spokesman for the University of Regensburg said that the university management wanted to meet with the activists for a discussion. “We should sit in the university and pretend that everything is okay. But the world for which we are supposed to learn has no future,” says an international call for university protests.
The actions take place at the same time as the UN climate conference in Egypt. “Governments are powerless in the face of profit interests and multinational corporations.
