They have been a couple at the top of the Greens for a good year. In February 2022, just before the Ukraine war broke out, Ricarda Lang and Omid Nouripour were elected the new leaders of the Greens. Weapons deliveries, stretching operation for nuclear power plants, measures for climate protection – there have been many highly controversial issues in the party since then. But despite their origins from very different political green camps, Lang and Nouripour always got together. So far, they have not let any dissonances through.
