Refugee accommodation in Ebersberg: A virtue out of necessity – Ebersberg

If the district administrator of Ebersberg publicly declares that the district will not take in any more refugees for the time being, Munich should actually react. But only evasive things come from the state capital – and there are reasons for that.

The district of Ebersberg is imposing a de facto admission freeze – even if it is not officially allowed to be called that – for refugees, and how do the higher-level bodies, i.e. the state and district government, react? Not at all. Even when asked, there are at best quotations from laws and regulations. What is expressly and conspicuously missing is a passage that used to be called the Poen formula: So what should happen if, for example, the Ebersberg district does not comply with the obligations cited. This is strange at first glance and understandable at second glance.
