The election campaign was under way when the Bundestag candidate Reem Alabali-Radovan invited to her boxing club. She is a hobby boxer at Traktor Schwerin and married to the professional boxer Denis Radovan. As Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania’s integration officer, Alabali-Radovan took Prime Minister Manuela Schwesig and Chancellor candidate Olaf Scholz to the Olympic base. She wanted to show what role sport can play for young people. Summer 2021, it was her first meeting with Scholz. December 2021, now she has an office in the Chancellery.
