Fans of “Red Roses” and “Sturm der Liebe” have to prepare for a long time without their favorite series in the summer.

The ARD telenovelas “Sturm der Love” and “Rote Rosen” will say goodbye to a long summer break in May and June respectively. As the first announced in a press release, there will be a big sports program for this.

“Rote Rosen” (daily from Monday to Friday at 2:10 p.m.) says goodbye for nine weeks starting June 17th. New episodes will continue on August 19th. “Sturm der Liebe” (daily from Monday to Friday at 3:10 p.m.) will go into summer break from May 21st. The new episodes about the Fürstenhof are also scheduled to start on August 19th. Sports fans will be able to see, among other things, the Tour de France from June 29th to July 21st (live from 2:10 p.m.). The Tour de France Femmes follows from August 12th to 18th, and the Summer Olympics are also waiting, which will take place in Paris from July 26th to August 11th.

New ARD afternoon with “Leben.Live!”

A new format in the afternoon program will also start from May 21st. From Monday to Friday, Erste shows “Leben.Live! – My ARD afternoon” from 3:10 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. The live broadcast will initially run until June 14th and will be presented by presenter Johannes Zenglein (37), known from “ARD-Buffet” and the “Tigerenten Club”. This wants to offer the viewer “a good hour to relax and lean back”. The audience can expect “entertaining stories, useful and personal information as well as daily live impressions from various regions of Germany”. Celebrity guests and experts on the topics of lifestyle, living and enjoyment will complete the content of the show.
