According to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Diadie Samassekou will leave TSG at short notice and switch to top Greek club Olympiacos Piraeus. This transfer is possible because the transfer window in Greece, in contrast to the top European leagues, is still open.
In the current season, Samassekou has not played a major role under new coach Andre Breitenreiter. After six matchdays in the Bundesliga, the Malian has only played 34 minutes, spread over two substitutions.
Samassekou moved from RB Salzburg to Kraichgau in 2019 for 14 million euros, making it the most expensive purchase in TSG history. However, the 26-year-old rarely lived up to expectations.
