Homeless people are also subject to increased vigilance during periods of high heat, with the city specifying that the marauding teams are “reinforced” and that 5,000 water bottles will be distributed. Three shower baths will be open until 8 p.m. this Saturday.
Temperatures drop on Monday
The town hall specifies that elderly or sick people who would like to be registered on the file allowing them to be contacted in case of high heat (Reflex file) can call 3975 or complete the online registration form.
Fourteen departments of Île-de-France and Centre-Val-de-Loire are on orange heatwave alert on Friday and Saturday, an unprecedented heat episode so late in the year. Temperatures should still remain high on Sunday, “although possibly decreasing slightly, before a more significant drop from Monday”, according to Météo-France.
