Georg Stefan Troller has prepared well for Günter Wallraff’s visit. With carefully typed questions; and he wanted to be briefed on Wallraff’s recent activities and publications before the meeting. In Paris, on the Rue Léon Vaudoyer, Wallraff and Troller meet. Troller turned 100 last December, Wallraff will be 80 on October 1st. These are such formal birth sequences and dates that both understandably quarrel. Troller, the talented TV documentarian and interviewer, only finally felt old when he turned 100, he says. He was still giving seminars at colleges and film academies in his late nineties. That doesn’t work anymore.
