Five years ago, the then 15-year-old student Rebecca Reusch disappeared in Berlin. On the morning of February 18, 2019, she was with her sister and her husband in Berlin-Britz. From there she wanted to go to school. But she never arrived there or at her parents’ house.
Investigators believe that the girl did not leave the house alive but was killed. The brother-in-law is considered suspect. He had claimed that Rebecca had left the house that morning to go to school. But the homicide squad was unable to determine this based on the cell phone data.

He has been arrested twice but released due to lack of evidence. Several police searches in the woods near Storkow, not far from the A12, were unsuccessful.
In addition to pictures of Rebecca, the police also published photos of her clothing and other items that disappeared with the girl on the Internet.
