There is currently a latent mood of crisis in the real estate market, which has been spoiled by success. However, it is very unlikely that prices will drop significantly, explains Stephan Radomsky from the SZ economics department in this episode. There is enormous uncertainty on the market right now, but for a real crash, many real estate loans would have to burst in a short time – and real estate financing in Germany is too solidly positioned for that.

However, the uncertainty has other consequences: Less construction is taking place, investments are stagnating. Why this could also become a problem for tenants in the long term.
