Ray Stevenson is set to appear in Star Wars: Ahsoka. The Marvel star is no stranger to the galaxy far, far away.

“Star Wars: Ahsoka”, already the second offshoot series of “The Mandalorian” after “The Book of Boba Fett”, is gradually taking shape. In addition to Rosario Dawson (42), who will embody the title heroine Ahsoka Tano, the makers have now secured the services of character mime Ray Stevenson (57). This is reported by the US industry website “Deadline”.

Stevenson should be known to Marvel and series fans in particular. He played the character Volstagg in three Thor films and the Marvel anti-hero Punisher in the 2008 film War Zone. Stevenson also acted as an adversary of the title character “Dexter” in one season of the Showtime series, most recently he appeared in “Vikings”.

According to Deadline, his role in “Star Wars: Ahsoka” is still strictly confidential. However, the galaxy far, far away is no stranger to Stevenson. In “The Clone Wars” and “Rebels” he already lent his voice to the character Gar Saxon in the English original. Whether he will embody this directly?

Popular “Star Wars” heroine

The new Star Wars series is dedicated to a beloved character in the franchise that fans have known for years from the animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars series. For the first time in flesh and blood, however, it was “The Mandalorian” that brought Ahsoka Tano, played by Dawson, to life.

“Star Wars: Ahsoka” will be a mini-series, so Natasha Liu Bordizzo (27) and Mary Elizabeth Winstead (37) are also part of the cast. It is also said that Hayden Christensen (40) could once again be seen in his role as Darth Vader. There is no start date yet.
