The Showtime series “Ray Donovan” is getting a remake. Director Guy Ritchie and screenwriter Ronan Bennett are taking on the project.

After the Netflix series “The Gentlemen”: Guy Ritchie (55) is working on a remake of the Showtime series “Ray Donovan”. Award-winning screenwriter Ronan Bennett (68) will write ten episodes for “The Donovans”, This is what “The Variety” reports. The series will be available on the Paramount+ streaming service later this year.

“We will deliver a show that will provide massive thrills, entertainment and a huge adrenaline rush to viewers around the world,” reveals the author. He has concrete plans: “At the same time, I’m fully focused on exploring real characters, physically and mentally. I plan to write stories with deep dramatic impact.”
