Odds win for the first with thrilling athletics from Munich: In contrast, neither “The Great Germany Quiz” nor “Star Trek Beyond” had a chance.

The European Championships gave the first the odds win at prime time again on Saturday. 4.25 million people (20.8 percent) watched from 8:15 p.m. A little later, the number of viewers at the broadcast of the European Athletics Championships in Munich rose to 4.51 million.

At the same time, ZDF had “The Great Germany Quiz” in its programme. The show attracted 2.37 million (11.0 percent) viewers in front of the television. 960,000 people (4.5 percent) watched the Hollywood film “We Bought a Zoo” with Matt Damon on Vox. “Beauty and the Beast” with Emma Watson as Belle watched 850,000 on Sat.1 (4.0 percent).

ProSieben showed the science fiction film “Star Trek Beyond” at 8:15 p.m., which interested 790,000 (3.7 percent). RTL celebrated the big TV legends with “40 years of super noses – with Mike Krüger & Thomas Gottschalk”, but just 880,000 viewers watched (4.1 percent).

Liam Neeson, Bradely Cooper and Jessica Biel were shown in the film “Das A-Team – Der Film” on RTLzwei at the same time, and 510,000 people tuned in there (2.4 percent). Interest in the series “Superman & Lois” on cable was significantly lower with 270,000 viewers (1.3 percent).
