After the news on ZDF and Erste, many viewers stayed tuned in to find out more about a raid on Reich citizens in special programs.

On Wednesday, when there was no World Cup, the police action against so-called Reich citizens aroused the interest of TV viewers. On average, 5.62 million switched on the ARD “Focus: Raid against Reich Citizens” on the first channel from 8:15 p.m. (21.2 percent market share).

The “ZDF special” with the title “Coupling Plans and Suspected Terrorism” also met with great interest: from 7.20 p.m. it had around 3.32 million viewers (14.8 percent).

As a non-daily program, the ZDF crime magazine “Aktenzeichen XY… unsolved” was the strongest from 8:25 p.m. with 4.94 million (18.8 percent market share). The film comedy “Das Weihnachtsschnitzel” with Armin Rohde and Ludger Pistor, which was slightly postponed due to the “Focal Point”, reached 4.72 million (17.9 percent) in parallel in the first from 8.30 p.m.

RTL was ahead of the private channels in prime time: “The price is hot” as a Christmas special with Harry Wijnvoord and Thorsten Schorn had 1.43 million viewers (5.5 percent) and also defeated the “Celebrity Big Brother” finale on Sat .1, which won 1.31 million (6.2 percent).

The ProSieben show “TV total” did not make it over the million mark with 0.92 million (3.5 percent). The prison drama “The Convicts”, based on a novel by Stephen King, which IMDb rated as one of the best films in history, had 0.78 million viewers (3.3 percent) on Kabel Eins.
