The Nordic-style ARD thriller “Die Toten am Meer – Der Viking” drew most people in front of the television on Saturday evening. Entertainment programs reached significantly fewer viewers.

The ARD thriller “Die Toten am Meer – Der Viking” reached the most viewers on Saturday evening. At 8:15 p.m., 5.6 million people wanted to see the film, which was shot in the style of a Nordic thriller. The market share was 20.2 percent.

3.8 million viewers (14.3 percent) were entertained by the ZDF program “The Quiz Champion – The Celebrity Special”.

Accompanied by a small costume glitch, singer Ella finally won the ProSieben show “The Masked Singer” – 2.5 million viewers watched the finale (10.3 percent). The RTL show “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” was watched by 1.5 million people (6.0 percent). 1.4 million viewers (5.4 percent) watched the 2004 disaster film classic “The Day after Tomorrow” on Sat.1.

The US comedy film “Bad Moms” (2016) starring Mila Kunis attracted 810,000 people to watch TV on Vox (3.0 percent). The action series “9-1-1 Notruf LA” on Kabel Eins attracted 530,000 viewers (2.3 percent). RTLzwei showed the US strip “Die Wutprobe” from 2003 with Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson – 430,000 viewers saw this film (1.6 percent).
