It is not the first time that Rudi Cerne is in the race for the best rating with the ZDF manhunt program “Aktenzeichen XY”. Even a comedy with Jan Josef Liefers in the first can’t keep up.

“File number XY… Unsolved” aroused by far the greatest interest on Wednesday evening. 4.74 million people (21.6 percent) turned on Rudi Cerne’s ZDF search magazine from 8:15 p.m. “The viewers were particularly moved by the brutal murder of a baker’s apprentice in December 1990. The 16-year-old had not come home and his body was found three days later,” ZDF said on Thursday. Two clues in particular could advance the investigations of the police: “Both focus on a person from the personal environment of the victim.”

The first had the comedy “The Man in the Tree” in its program at the same time. The film, starring Jan Josef Liefers and Suzan Anbeh, attracted 2.75 million viewers (12.5 percent). The RTL game show “The price is hot” with Harry Wijnvoord wanted to see 1.50 million (7.0 percent).

The regional thriller “Wilsberg” with Leonard Lansink, Oliver Korittke and Ina Paule Klink ran on ZDFneo – 1.08 million (4.9 percent) spent the evening with it. The Sat.1 cooking show “The Taste” brought 900,000 people into the house (4.9 percent). The RTLzwei show “Kampf der Realitystars” had 820,000 fans (3.9 percent).

The US crime series “Bones – The Bone Hunter” with Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz was shown on Vox – 640,000 men and women (3.0 percent) sat in front of the screen. ProSieben broadcast the entertainment show “Die! Herz! Schlag! Show!” and convinced 400,000 viewers (1.9 percent) to tune in.
