Sony announced a PC version of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart late this afternoon.
The PC implementation of the previous PS5 exclusive title from Insomniac Games is scheduled for release on July 26, 2023.
What does the PC version offer?
Nixxes Software takes care of the implementation for the PC, among other things you can expect ultrawide support (21:9, 32:9, 48:9), and there are also new raytracing shadows for outdoor areas.
DLSS 3, AMD FSR 2, Intel XeSS and Insomniacs Temporal Injection are also supported. You can also use Nvidia Reflex and DLAA.
You experience haptic feedback when you connect the DualSense controller of the PlayStation 5 to your PC.
Of course you can also play with mouse and keyboard if you want. And if you wish, you can also play with an unlimited frame rate.
How much you benefit from it ultimately depends on your hardware.
