Raser on the A 995: At 212 kilometers per hour in the speed trap – district of Munich

At 212 kilometers per hour, a speeder was flashed on the Giesinger Autobahn at night. Tempo 80 applies here. The man was so much too fast that the catalog of fines does not show any amount for it. The Holzkirchen motorway police, who flashed the speeding driver, assume that the fine of 700 euros will be at least doubled, and he will probably get two points in Flensburg and a three-month driving ban.

For four days, the officials monitored the route between the Süd-Kreuz and the entrance to the McGraw Graben with a “semi-stationary speed measuring system” and flashed lots of speeders. Even during the day there is a speed limit of 120 on the A 995 heading into town.

The highway police reported 105,000 “driving movements”, 1,364 cars were so fast that there were reports and fines of 180 euros and more were due. 225 drivers also expect driving bans of one to three months. According to the police, the speed limit was violated even more at night than during the day.
