“The person concerned is accused of having participated in an altercation which prompted the intervention of the municipal police. While the police were trying to separate the protagonists, the defendant punched a municipal police officer in the face,” Montpellier public prosecutor Fabrice Bélargent told AFP.
Placed under judicial supervision
The policeman had a day of total incapacity for work. The young 25-year-old rapper, whose videos have accumulated millions of views on the Internet, was presented to the prosecution on Tuesday and is “prosecuted for willful violence that did not result in an ITT of more than eight days on the depositary of public authority in legal recidivism”.
While awaiting his trial, he was placed under judicial supervision, said the public prosecutor.
