Drake: Last minute announcement via Instagram
Just a few hours earlier, the musician had announced the release on his Instagram account. He has already shared the album cover and tracklist. A total of 14 tracks can be heard on the new album, including a feature with British rapper 21Savage.
Honestly, Nevermind is Drake’s seventh studio album. Most recently, he released “Certified Lover Boy” in September. At the Grammys 2021 he was nominated in the category “Best Rap Album” and with the song “Way 2 Sexy” in the category “Best Rap Performance”.
Before the award ceremony, however, he had himself withdrawn from the race. The musician had often been dissatisfied with the Grammys in the past – due to the lack of transparency and diversity from his point of view.
