At SoFi stadium in Inglewood, the Rams of Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp challenge the Bengals of young quarterback Joe Burrow and his university friend Ja’marr Chase. On paper, the Rams are favorites, mainly because Cincinnati’s offensive line may have a hard time protecting Burrow against defensive behemoth Aaron Donald. But after two defeats in 1982 and 1987, the Bengals have made incredible comebacks in the playoffs and want to prove the bookmakers one last time.
How often, sport is far from the only interest of this Super Bowl. In a futuristic half-buried stadium worth nearly 6 billion dollars, 100,000 spectators will have the chance to attend one of the half time show the most anticipated in history with the bad boys of west side Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar, accompanied by Eminem and Mary J. Blige. On television, 100 million Americans will discover highly anticipated ads, but also the first trailer for the series Lord of the Rings from Amazon.
