The scandalous practices surrounding Rammstein are said to have been an “open secret” in the music scene. The managing director of an event company is now reporting on the “suck box” – a room under the concert stage for sexual practices.

The allegations against the band Rammstein and their frontman Till Lindemann are intensifying. More and more people are expressing themselves with details. Aeneas Hohenadl, managing director of the events company “Riggingwerk”, also commented on the band’s practices. In an interview with “Welt” he says that what happened behind the Rammstein stage was an “open secret” – including the “Suck Box”. This is said to have been a room under the concert stage, where sexual practices between the Rammstein singer and women are said to have taken place. The young women for the “suck box” are said to have been chosen by the security staff during the concerts.

“False neutrality” and silence from the music industry

Hohenadl cannot excuse the fact that the music industry is silent about the revelations surrounding Rammstein. He takes the view that the statements of those affected should not be reacted to with silence and “false neutrality”. Hohenadl’s company had previously worked with Rammstein as a sub-partner. That’s the end of it now: “I rule out working with Till Lindemann or the band Rammstein in the future,” he says. “Riggingwerk” distances itself from the band and does not want to accept the behavior of the group and their handling of the allegations.

Northern Ireland’s Shelby Lynn made the first public allegations against Lindemann. On May 22, she attended the opening concert of the band’s European tour in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius. Three days later, she voiced suspicions on social media that she was drugged backstage. Lindemann didn’t touch her, but got angry when she told him in a room under the stage that she didn’t want to have sex with him. Since then, more and more women have gone public with similar experiences.
