The new Rammstein album “Zeit” will be released on April 29th. The single of the same name already sounds unusually melancholic.
Rammstein are back: The new album “Zeit” will be released on April 29, 2022. As has been rumored for some time, the band’s eighth long-player was recorded at La Fabrique Studios in France. According to the announcement, the band worked for two years on the eleven new songs. Altogether there will be three versions of “Zeit”: standard CD, special edition CD and double vinyl LP.
Melancholic single with a poetic video
The theme song is already available. In it, Till Lindemann (59) sings to piano tones and a choir about the fleeting happiness of the perfect moment. Also the poetic video to the unusually melancholic single celebrated its premiere this Thursday.

The cover photo of the album comes from Bryan Adams (62). He photographed the band on the stairs of the Trudelturm in Berlin-Adlershof, a monument to air research.
The B-sides also promise a special musical experience: Most of them were edited by the Grammy-nominated Icelandic neo-classical artist Ólafur Arnalds (35) and are said to sound “meditative-atmospheric”.
In spring and summer 2022, the men will also be back on the big stages: from May to October, Rammstein will be touring through Europe and North America with over 40 concerts.
