The conversation is already recorded. But for the time being, the appearance of Rammstein keyboardist Christian “Flake” Lorenz on “Inas Nacht” should not be broadcast. This is how the NDR justified the intervention in the program.

The debate about Rammstein singer Till Lindemann now also affects the other band members. For example, a conversation with keyboardist Christian “Flake” Lorenz that was already recorded for the program “Inas Nacht” will not be broadcast for the time being. Lorenz’ appearance in the talk show moderated by Ina Müller was originally supposed to be broadcast on August 24 in the first. But this does not occur. As reported by the NDR, the editors have decided not to schedule the interview for the current season.

“When the conversation was recorded, the current allegations were not yet public knowledge – so Christian ‘Flake’ Lorenz could not be questioned or comment on it,” NDR justified the intervention. The broadcast of an interview in which Lorenz was not asked about the Rammstein debate did not seem appropriate to the editors and would arouse false expectations among viewers.

The public prosecutor is investigating Rammstein singer Till Lindemann

Several people had previously raised allegations that women were specifically recruited for sex with Till Lindemann at the band’s concerts. The Berlin public prosecutor’s office has now started investigations against the Rammstein singer, Lindemann denies the allegations.

The first cracks are becoming apparent within the band due to the discussion about their frontman that has been going on for weeks. Drummer Christoph Schneider spoke on Instagram on Friday of an increasing distance between Lindemann and the band. In recent years, Lindemann has “created his own bubble. With his own people, his own parties, his own projects”. Apparently things happened “which – even if legally ok – I personally don’t think is okay”.

There is already a replacement for the broadcast planned for August 24th: According to NDR, a conversation with Sven Regener and a number of his band Element of Crime should be shown. British singer Birdy will also appear.
