In recent weeks, numerous women have made allegations against Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann. Celebrities like Carolin Kebekus, Nora Tschirner and Rezo are now involved in a fundraiser that collects money for alleged victims.

Serious allegations against Till Lindemann, frontman of the band Rammstein, have been pending for around three weeks. More and more young women are reporting a kind of perfidious groupie system. She was specifically selected for the zero row directly in front of the stage and brought to frontman Till Lindemann after the concerts to have sex with him, according to the accusation. There were also drugs and hard alcohol at the parties. The band denied the allegations about a lawyer as “everything untrue”.

Rammstein: Berlin public prosecutor determined against Till Lindemann

The Berlin public prosecutor’s office is now investigating Lindemann “on allegations of sexual offenses and the sale of narcotics”. The investigation is also aimed at Alena Makeeva, who describes herself as the “casting director”. The band emphasizes that the 35-year-old held no official position.

Several celebrities such as actress Nora Tschirner, comedian Carolin Kebekus or YouTuber Rezo have now expressed their solidarity with the alleged victims. They support one crowdfunding campaign, which was initiated together with the Berlin Amadeu Antonio Foundation. The money should go to the women who have spoken publicly about their experiences in connection with the Rammstein concerts – and are now being warned by the band’s lawyers. “We’re seeing a classic power imbalance again,” says Tschirner in an Instagram video.

Many, whether directly affected or not, would feel intimidated and wish the whole thing would be cleared up. Carolin Kebekus put it similarly: “The young women who make these allegations cannot afford these lawyers, which leads to a classic imbalance of power. As is so often the case in these structures. We are no longer in the mood for that.”

Already over 300,000 euros in donations

Rezo refers in his post on the Statement by Rammstein, which the band released in early June. It says, among other things: “We condemn any kind of transgression and ask you: Do not participate in public prejudice of any kind against those who have made allegations. They have a right to their point of view.” Nevertheless, numerous women have now received mail from lawyers. “Something like that is intimidating. Till Lindemann is very rich, his lawyers are very expensive. Not everyone can afford to have a legal dispute with them. I don’t want people not to talk because they are afraid of financial consequences,” says the youtuber.

“The donations will be made in consultation with the Federal Association of Women’s Counseling Centers and Women’s Emergency Call Centers – Women Against Violence and, if necessary, other specialist organizations,” the foundation said on its website. A donation of over 300,000 euros has already been collected within a very short time.
