On the ice rink at Stachus, ice-skating fans can do their lanes again from November 19th. It is especially beautiful in the evenings due to the colorful lighting. And those whose stomach growls after the trip can then have a warm meal in the Schmankerl hut or in a local restaurant.

Olympic ice sports center

Let the runners slide to the music? This is possible on the ice rink in the Olympic Park. Because on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays there is a disco ice skating from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Not only professionals but also hobby drivers can then skate to “Worldmusic”, chart hits and “Best of 50’s to 90’s”. In addition to the normal public traffic, the hall is available for the freestyle patch every day from 8 a.m. to 9.40 a.m. This means that figures and jumps can be trained during this time. On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12.15 p.m. to 1.45 p.m., over 50s are also announced.

The hall in the Olympic Park is even barrier-free. The Olympic Ice Sports Center offers ice gliders for children and adults in wheelchairs, which can be attached to the bottom of the wheelchair.

Prinzregentenstadion

The Munich ice dancers offer free dance lessons in the Prinzregentenstadion.

The ice rink at Prinzregentenplatz also invites you to dance and even take free lessons. Every Sunday experienced dancers help to improve their own moves. At 9:30 a.m., the warm-up begins with music such as waltzes and tango. The dance class will then take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Ice dance music continues until 12 noon so that what you have learned can be implemented directly. Of course, the hall is also open to the public.

Ice and fun sports center east

The season has already opened in the open ice rink in the middle of the Ostpark. Between the trees in the park, young and old, professionals and amateurs alike can slide their runners on the 400-meter-long speed skating rink. There is also an indoor area for ice athletes. If you don’t have your own equipment, you can of course rent it on site.

In the 60-meter-long and 30-meter-wide ice rink in the hall in Germering, which is right next to the outdoor pool, visitors have been able to skate on the ice since mid-October. Ice skating is accompanied by music here. The season doesn’t end until March.
